The Lake County Community Crisis Relief Fund serves as a permanent countywide funding resource in times of emergencies. In the past, the fund has been used to support our Lake County nonprofit partners and other community groups with quick and well-coordinated funding to alleviate unanticipated financial hardship due to community crises. Funds have supported COVID-19 relief efforts including emergency food and supplies, utility and financial assistance and more recently mental health support in the wake of the Highland Park July 4th mass shooting. We continue to build this permanent fund to be ready for when urgent community needs arrive.
