Robert F. Reusché, founder and trusted advisor of The Lake County Community Foundation, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Bob devoted the first ten years of his retirement from the Northern Trust Company to The Chicago Community Trust, serving as senior advisor. It was during his tenure as senior advisor that he championed the establishment of The Lake County Community Foundation, a permanent charitable legacy in his home of Lake County.  His giving spirit touched the lives of countless people. The staff and board of the Foundation will profoundly miss Bob’s devotion to philanthropy, infectious curiosity about the world and friendly smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
